Despite the challenging circumstances, Lao Hac remained steadfast and hopeful. He loved his son deeply and wanted nothing but the best for him. However, due to their poverty, Lao Hac had to make a difficult decision. He decided to sell his beloved dog, Cậu Vàng, to buy rice and other necessities for his family.
